Do you want to spark enthusiasm and creativity with your students, while still focusing on writing standards? One of my hard-to-please fourth grade boys said this project was "my favorite thing I've ever worked on in school!" - quite the compliment!

I use this project while reading the novel A Wrinkle in Time, but it can be done in conjunction with any Science Fiction genre study. By the end of this project, each student will have created with own planet, along with different writing samples, illustrations and artifacts to represent their planet.

Included in this Product:

Student overview
My weekly pacing guide
Rubrics for every mini-assignment
Every graphic organizer you will need for your students to create their project
A photo of a past student project to give you a visual!
This project is geared toward the language arts classroom, but has geography and science components as well.
