This is a great hands-on activity for students to do independently. The file folder game, "Energy Transformations Level 2," gives different scenarios for an energy transformation and students must identify the type of energy used and what it is transformed into. For example, batteries to a turned on flash light. This file folder gives pictures like level 1, but challenges students to take it to the next level and makes them identify the types of energy being transformed and what it is transformed into.
There is a cover page, as well as, two tables to place the pictures.
You can print this activity in color and laminate or use it as a cut and paste activity.
***This also is a great activity to prepare special education students for the alternative assessment and addresses a middle school science topic.***
