I am so excited to share this product with you. It has taken me over a month to put together because I have been using every piece in my classroom as well. This unit has gotten me through our Force and Motion fourth grade Science unit with an amazing tie in to Scientific Explanation writing using the Claim, Evidence, Reasoning model.

Get rid of the Scientific Method and start having your young scientists write explanations about their investigations focusing on academic language and scientific principles!

Included are specific directions to complete FIVE Force & Motion investigations: The Ping Pong Blow, The Box Push, Ramp & Roll, The Friction Roll, and Cars on a Ramp! These investigations are student friendly, high engaging, and meaningful lab experiences that are not hard to set up and complete.

Also included are specific tips and worksheets to get your students writing about their new learning. Sample answers are available to see as well.
