Using two sheets of legal paper (8.5x14in) this foldable will fold up to fit onto a single page in a composition notebook. Compact and easy to use!

Here's a run down of what this foldable has to offer:
...The inside of the left will display a guide to the History and Scientists of the Cell Theory.
...On the outside of the left there is a guide to the difference between Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Cells.
...The inside of the right,there is a Dichotomous Key, with 10 different beetles, that students can do as a practice (an extra page is included that has ONLY the images - this is if you want to display the pictures through a projector or make a class set in color).
...On the outside of the right, students can classify the Kingdoms to show their different characteristics.

Students can fill in this guide by researching on their own, using their text book, or through your own lesson. I sell a CELL POWERPOINT that will cover some of what is needed for this foldable.

The best approach that I've used to complete this activity:
Each topic...CELLS... CELL THEORY... TAXONOMY... takes two to three days each to introduce and practice understanding with other activities. So, what I do is staple these UNCUT pages together - then, throughout the week... maybe a week and a half, students work on this gradually. At the end of the period, they turn it in (with their names on it). The next day, I pass it back to the owner. This continues until it is complete. THEN and only then, do the students cut it out, fold it up, and glue it into their journals. After that, it serves as a study guide!
