This is an interactive notebook activity that can be made from just a single piece of copy paper. Students can use this tri-foldable to help them remember the formula used for calculating density. When folded up, it can be glued down onto a single page in the journal.
Unfold the activity to reveal sections specific to that variable. All three (D, M, and V) have a place for students to write their definitions and the measurement units the each call for. Each section also has a special question that applies to that variable. These questions seem to be the ones that are brought up the most, and their answers help to clarify concepts.
Great for introducing density calculation.
NOTE: This is different than my density triangle in that it shows the formula only one way (D = M/V)... while the triangle shows calculating from the perspective of each variable.
