Description: This lesson plan was designed to allow students the opportunity to learn more about the in’s and out’s of how food is digested. This will require students explaining the path food takes using proper terminology for body parts involved, knowing location, function, length of the process, and how it provides fuel for the body. Being that eating is a very essential daily activity, students need to understand this process. Although parts of this lesson plan can be completed without the following resource, integral to this study is The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body video and The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body CD.

Description: In this lesson, students in grades 3-5 will learn about good dental health habits. The students will use information gathered from web sites, dentist's office, and materials supplied by the teacher. Working in groups, they will prepare presentations such as skits, posters, songs, and poems.
