Living things and their habitats
Your students will love this fantastic pack of science activities, ideal for supporting teaching of 'Living things and their habitats'! Included are six activities:
Students sort animals in different ways, recording their reasoning.
Students group animals according to their animals class (mammal, reptile, amphibian, insect, bird or fish).
Students match up the cards into sets of a) animal class, b) characteristics and c) example.
Students describe the impact humans have had on the environment in the photographs (deforestation, garden pond, litter on a beach and African national park).

Students match the topic vocabulary to its definitions.
Included are detailed, clear instructions on how to set up the activities. Also included is a KWL (what I know already, what I would like to know and what I learned) for student to complete prior and after the unit.
