This is a simple worksheet that help students master balanced and unbalanced forces. Great for warmups!
TEK 8.6A demonstrate and calculate how unbalanced forces change the speed or direction of an object's motion.
Starting at the tree, the student must be able to recognize if the forces acting on the black box are balanced or unbalanced. They will then follow the arrow that corresponds to each apple to the next apple. Once an apple is used it cannot be revisited, even if an arrow with the correct answer points back to it, the student must find another path and make there way to the end. They will continue solving problems until they reach Isaac, where the secrets of the universe will be revealed to them or he will just offer you an apple.
For any word not used you can have the students define them on the back of the worksheet for bonus points to be used at your leisure. (Missing assignments, test, projects or other types of assessments)
Not all of the apples are used (or are they) in the maze to prevent students from just guessing the route.
An answer key is included to help with grading.
