This is a great resource if you are teaching about gravity and the sun as a source of heat and light.
The activities that I've planned need some supplies that you hopefully have in your room such as scissors, tape, glue, balloons, and popsicle sticks. There are some other supplies that you will need to plan ahead for such as wire, dowels, and washers.
You need to supply a science notebook for each student. In my class, I purchased the composition books (not spiral-bound) and had Home Depot cut them in half to stretch my $$ further.
There are 6 lesson pages, each followed by an activity. Some of the activities are individual, partner, group, or demonstrations.
There is also two art activities, and a concluding writing activity to sum up the unit.
Unit vocabulary cards are included.
This is unit 4 and of 5 that I have made to support your science needs. I combined the last two units into one notebook. They each have 3 lessons and activities, and 1 art page.
