This lesson plan, on the science concept of physical attributes, is an interdisciplinary lesson incorporating math, ELA, and social studies, specifically, community. Included is an instructional guide in the form of an outline and narrative as well as a PowerPoint presentation offering opportunities for response/student involvement. There are also several collaborative/group activities included in this lesson plan. This could easily be broken apart and used as a week-long unit plan with all of the information and activities provided.
