Description

Engage your students in learning about plastic film and how it's recycled while practicing English language reading skills in this hybrid learning activity designed to be done independently by students whether they are in the classroom, learning online, or any combination of learning groupings.

This flexible product includes:

  • instructions to set up, prepare and run this activity in your classroom (or Google Classroom) any time during the school year
  • instructions on how to use this activity as part of an overall English Language Arts program while building student independence (freeing you up to teach small groups or individual students while they work)
  • mini lessons for each of the skills which are recommended for the first time each skill is introduced
  • student pages: A paper and digital Google Slides versions are included so you can complete these activities in the classroom or online whether you are teaching in person or using these activities for distance learning.

Ninja Note: This product uses Google Slides and recommends Google Classroom as the way to deliver it. If you are new to using these tools, please familiarize yourself with them to avoid any frustrations of working with this product. Students working with slides should be familiar with text boxes (creating and filling them) and dragging shapes on slides.
