I have created 10 HOTS questions to place in my Georgia third grade science safety unit. There are two pages of questions and two pages of answers included. It is a Microsoft Word Document so you an add/change/revise questions as you deem necessary. Students have to learn to make judgments, analyze the errors in the given scenarios, and draw some conclusions using what they know about science safety. Incorporating Bloom's Taxonomy into my lessons is a major goal of mine. There are 10 questions about basic elementary science/lab safety. Some important rules that are covered include washing hands, using goggles, using oven mitts, using tongs, following directions, and cleaning spills.
