This bundle includes two assessments for a skills-based curriculum in Science:
- Observation assessment
- Classification assessment
In the observation assessment, students will explain how their senses help them make observations. They will also fill in a table to demonstrate their knowledge of how they use their senses help them make observations (the columns are titled "Sense", "Body parts that use this sense", and "Two describing words related to this sense"). Then they will record a detailed observation about any object. You can provide them with an everyday object to write about.
In the classification assessment, students will classify data into T-charts (one chart has the columns "Food" and "Drink", and the other has "Farm animals" and "Forest animals"). Then students will construct their own T-chart to classify a set of given data. They will create titles for each column, then sort all of the data in a way that makes sense.
