Science Station mini labs. Engaging and interactive way for students to review the science standards
These 8 science stations include mini labs and hands-on investigations that help students review and reinforce their understanding of the major science topics. Use them as small mini labs throughout the year to review each topic and then use them again at the end of the year as a station rotation to review all the standards.
-8 science stations covering density, chemical reactions, force, motion, states of matter, elements and compounds, space, and scientific method
-Hint pages that summarize the main points of each topic for the students to use at each station
-Materials list for each station with directions and picture for how to set it up
-Directions and management for the science station activity
-Student answer sheet with answer key
Materials used in this science station activity
- cubes (for density activity and states of matter activity)
- spring scale (for friction activity)
- toy car (for motion activity)
- baking soda and vinegar (for chemical reaction activity)
- balloon with helium (for states of matter and elements and compound activity)
- bottles of water (for states of matter and elements and compound activity)
- aluminum foil and penny (for elements and compound activity
- scale or triple beam balance (for density activity)
