Product Description
This includes an 8 page book to describe the location and simple functions of the brain, heart, lungs, liver, intestines, stomach, and kidneys. Each page in the book uses Boardmaker pictures to help students understand the text. The last few pages in this download are Boardmaker pictures that can be used to label a human body and simple Boardmaker sentences to explain the function of 6 organs. Ex: I had students lay on a piece of butcher block paper while a teacher traced their bodies. We then colored life size pictures of each organ. Next, we glued the organs to our outlined bodies as they would be in our real body. Then, the students glued the Boardmaker picture label to the correct organ on their traced bodies. Next, the students glued the function of the body part next to the correct organ.
