PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Great for beginning or end of winter when the temperature fluctuates. Helps students to understand the meaning of "freezing" temperatures and the very confusing aspect of when something is below or above freezing temperatures. You must clearly define that for the students, and this log helps them to practice. This also helps with the concept of predictions as they predict what they think the temperature will be each day. Can extend to discuss averages or on a weekly basis for more advanced students.

Students work on this log twice per day, and you can print out additional pages to extend this activity as long as you want. In the morning, they predict the temperature, and it is actually measured in the afternoon. Staple and provide each student with a logbook.
