Use these engaging vocabulary and/or word wall cards to teach your students true science literacy. Study one or more per week or pair them up with your unit! There are over 150 ROOT/AFFIX CARDS that provide an important root or affix commonly used in the field of science. Print them out on brightly colored card stock and use them as a warm up, in your science centers, or as a classroom word wall geared toward your middle school science classroom. Students will use the accompanying recording sheets, provided in varying styles, to record their learnings. There is even an option for creating a roots and affixes journal that students can add to all year.
