Description

This resource has fun, February-themed activities to support Social Studies and Science skills and makes life easier for the teacher!

Why use Science and Social Studies Activities, Printables, and Worksheets for February? Research tells us that an element of fun enhances learning. Children love celebrating the interesting holidays that come along, while these printables and worksheets give the children plenty of opportunities to practice important skills while having holiday fun!

How it works: Isn’t it tough to find time for Science and Social Studies? I developed these activities to make it easier to squeeze these important subjects into my second-grade classroom. February brings football, Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, and Presidents Day.

What’s included: These activities practice these important skills: reading nonfiction text, Science Process skills: predicting, inferring, observing, reading maps, and using timelines.
