Product Description
Science by Squell's FREE Friday's Fauna on the Whale Shark

This 6-slide powerpoint is meant as enrichment for a high school Biology or Environmental Science class. I use it for the last 20 minutes of a 50-minute Friday's College Preparatory Biology class. I tell the students it is just for fun, but this could easily be used to reinforce the concept of human impact in the ocean biome or environment.

In this short powerpoint, a whale shark is used to show a cool animal and how humans impact the ocean environment. The following concepts are covered in this presentation:
1. classification of an animal, from kingdom to species
2. threats to an animal, from hunting to pollution
3. habitat/niche of the whale shark
