This game is called King or Queen. The objective is to find out who in the class is the king or queen of a subject. The subjects available here are for phases and organelles.
Step 1. Have students take out a half sheet a paper and label with number for the appropriate amount of questions.
Step 2. Have students take a silent quiz by reading the questions aloud to the class and posting them with your projector one at a time.
Step 3. Have all students put pencils down and stand up behind their chairs.
Step 4. Review the answers to the questions. If a student gets a question wrong they have to sit down. For example if a student got question 1 correct and 2 wrong they would have to remain seated the rest of the game even if they answered question 3 correctly. One wrong answer=student sits and stays seated.
Step 5. Any students still standing by the end of the game is considered the king or queen and receive a prize. I usually give them dojo points or candy.
*Any student talking during quiz or that has a pencil in their hand during the reading of the answers will be disqualified.
