This experiment packet provides students with an opportunity to explore ice and physical properties, as well as practice the scientific method and inquiry. Science can be fun for the whole family! Simple Family Science Night Activities like this require no preparation from you the teacher other than printing this activity packet. Just print and send this home with your students. I use it as an extra credit project and reinforcement of the scientific method. This experiment is designed to involve the whole family and get parents and children communicating. This experiment allows students to practice writing a hypothesis, follow procedures, document observations, and analyze their results.
