A word document using chemical symbols of elements (including some fantasy elements from a variety of science fiction sources) to spell the names of the scientific disciplines studied in Australian Curriculum Science. Uses a custom page size to allow four symbols to fit on an A4 page when printed.
I wanted to create some interesting display boards for my science classroom, and thought the Breaking Bad title sequence would make an interesting style for titles and headings on the wall.
Each section has a title page containing the name of the science, followed by a single element symbol for each letter or letter pairs.
The names were created using http://www.lmntology.com/ with the fantasy elements turned on.
Fantasy elements included in this document have no atomic mass displayed. An alternative would be to print the fantasy elements on different coloured paper, or use a normal font to display letters that cannot be displayed using the strictly the scientific symbols. Occasionally it is possible to place the element card upside down to create the letter order required.
I hope this is helpful. Please comment if you have any other ideas for using this style.
