This is a guided conclusion writing template. It is best used AFTER students have attempted to write a conclusion because it helps them break down the parts of the conclusion. Everything in red in this document is something that should be modified to fit the particular experiment you are asking students to write a conclusion for. This activity should be followed by presenting students a NEW experiment and asking them to write a completely new conclusion. This pairs with the Scientific Conclusion Rubric used for the MSP (state test in WA), plus one extra point for added science learning that is not on the MSP.
