Doodle notes are the perfect blend of focus and creativity. I’ve had a lot of success using them within my classroom. They are highly engaging and provide a great review or reference guide for students. You could even split them up among the class, having each group fill out a different sheet, and then share out with the rest of the class!
My inquiry doodle notes include a guided doodle note sheet and an example of doodle notes I’ve created with my class.
I’ve included a picture of my completed doodle notes for you to use as an example or guide, they’re very easy to adapt- you can always include more detailed, complex information or keep the sheets more basic- which make them great to use across grade levels and perfect for differentiation!
The notes included are: Stating the Problem, Background/Research, Hypothesis, Procedure, Data Collection, Conclusion, and Results
