Clothespin matching games are a simple and quick way for students to practice and review science vocabulary and principles, while you get to quickly assess student understanding. Students love these fun matching games and you will, too!
This set includes 11 matching games. One of the games focuses on the definitions of parts of the scientific method. The other 10 games have an experimental design scenario, and students must label parts of the scenario with the parts of the scientific method. Students will decide what the question, hypothesis, independent variable, dependent variable, constants, control, results, and conclusion are from each scenario. Check out the table of contents in the preview to see a list of the 10 scenarios.
An introduction, directions for creating the colored clothespin sets, directions for printing the matching games, directions for student use, a table of contents, a mini poster of the scientific method steps, the matching games, and answer keys are provided.
The great part is that once you have created the colored clothespins, they can be used over and over again for all of the clothespin matching games in my store (you can also make your own using the provided blank templates). You can also laminate the matching games to use every school year!
