I always had a hard time finding lessons for Scientific Investigation. That is one of the reasons I started creating my own lessons, and now I get to share them on TpT!

This was the second video I made (the first was Lab Safety - you can check that out for free). I used to sing a similar song to my students - I know they thought I was a little crazy, but it was fun!

When you purchase this video, you will also get the complete lesson, which follows the same formula that I use in my class. It will give you everything you need from beginning to end. Just print, cut and teach!

Engage- This is a warm-up activity to get your students thinking.

Anchor - This anchor chart lists the steps of the Scientific Method/Investigation. Includes a black and white copy to be printed for your students, and a color copy for you to project as you teach and/or print as a poster!

Collaborate: This activity will allow students to practice what they have learned. Students will identify the different steps for Scientific Investigation and match them with the corresponding fun sample experiment. They will then answer rigorous discussion questions.

Harness: Students will complete a crossword puzzle using Scientific Investigation vocabulary.

Success - A quiz to assess the learning and student SUCCESS.

An Answer Key is included for easy grading!

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Happy Teaching!
