Teacher will print power point on card stock, I recommend 4-6 slides per page to make them into cards.
Each set should have a number or color mark on them. Example, one set of cards should all have a blue star on them and another set of cards should have a pink star written on each card. This will prevent card decks from being mixed up between groups.
Students will receive a stack of cards. Teacher should ask students to count the numbers of cards in the set, it should be 16.
Count the number of cards in stack, it should be 16. Make sure each card in your stack has the same # or symbol or color mark on it.
Separate 2 piles- 1 with underline and 1 without an underline.
Task 1: Put the cards with an underline in order of the Scientific Method
(Teacher goes around and checks before they proceed to next task. If class is advanced, teacher can have the 1st group done become "checkers" of other groups)
Task 2: Now, match the underlined cards which have the step of the scientific method with non-underlined card which is the example of that step. The example is an experiment based on what brand paper towels soaks up the most liquid.
OPTION: You can print cards 16/page and cut and paste into notebook
