In this student-led activity, students develop their own research/survey question (with up to four answer options). They then answer a series of questions, in the order of the scientific method. Then, they conduct a survey of their classmates to collect data. With that data, they create a data chart and three graphs. Finally, they write their conclusions. A great topic for the review/follow-up discussion of this activity would be discussing which types of graphs showed information the most effectively and why they worked so well.
