Are you looking for a more interesting way to get your students to learn about the steps for the scientific method? In this activity, students cut out six steps of the scientific method along with six characteristics. Next, they sort and organize the steps in a logical sequence, matching one characteristic to each step. Then, they check with the teacher (answer key provided) before they glue the steps and characteristics onto their paper. Lastly, they share and discuss with their partners. My students enjoyed this lesson and it was a great way to introduce the scientific method to them!
