Product Description
Here’s a great way to introduce or reinforce your student’s knowledge of Science topics! This flipper book is about the Scientific Method! Students will write about each step of the Scientific Method and add details to explain their thinking. They will also illustrate each page with science experiments or scientists performing experiments. Finally, they will decorate their own version of a lab coat!

When students have completed the writing and illustrating the flippers are easy to cut out and staple together. The templates in this product make two mini flipper books. The books are 5 x 8 inches in size when completed.

Included are 2 pages of teacher directions with hints about use, an additional page of hints to help you, 4 pages of templates for the flipper book, two versions of covers for student booklets- in color and black/white, photos of flipper books, and a full-size poster set of the Scientific Method.

These little flippers would be perfect for introducing the Scientific Method, reviewing knowledge of it, leaving on a sub day, or for center work. The flippers make a stand-alone book or can be glued into interactive notebooks!

The specific tasks include:
Question - Describe the procedure of beginning with a question and explain the purpose of asking a question to begin an experiment.
•Research - Describe how research is conducted before experimenting and the reason for it.
•Hypothesis- Explain what a hypothesis is and the format for writing one.
