Product Description
This is a formally written lesson plan for a science lesson that teaches the Scientific Method. Student's follow the steps of the scientific method to find out what happens when and M&M is placed in water (It melts but something else happens as well! :) ). There's no particular target group for this lesson plan. There's an IEP goal section of the lesson plan but I've used this lesson anywhere from 3rd grade and 6th grade in general education to student's with severe special needs who are as young as 7 and as old as 21. It's a great lesson that students love that can be adapted for any population. Also, granted there isn't nut allergies in the class, students love eating some M&Ms at the end of the experiment :)
