This is a game I normally play as a bellringer or a review for a test. The students work in groups. It has three levels:
The easiest is to have students match the steps of the scientific method to the correct order that they go in.
The next level is to have students match the steps of the scientific method to the correct definition of each.
Finally, students are to match parts of an experiment to the correct step in the scientific method.
I usually offer a small prize (candy, extra credit) for the group that wins each round. I would suggest running the cards on different colored paper (so as not to get them mixed up) and laminating them to make sure you can use them again.
