Ok y'all - the scientific method can be pretty dull, let's be honest. It's not neccessarily a standard that is taught in lower grades, BUT! it's important for us to teach our kiddos the steps that we need to go through to conduct all those fun experiments we do in class!
I introduce the scientific method right at the beginning of the year, but pair it with a fun intro to science experiment to gain their interest. These posters come in handy when explaining the steps. The terminology is kid friendly, and the colors are vibrant and exciting. I hang these in my classroom for us to refer back to as the year goes on with future experiments.
Here's what's included:
- 7 kid-friendly, bright posters briefly explaining the scientific method
- 3 fun patterns to pick from (solid, chevron, or watercolor)
- personal student versions for the kids to keep at their desks or in science notebooks
