The scientific method can be described using various terms and steps. Our interpretation of the scientific method follows the following steps. Each of these steps in the scientific method represents a poster included within the product. Each page prints on 1 standard size piece of paper (8.5 x 11) in portrait format.
Scientific Method Steps
1. Make an Observation
2. Ask a Question
3. Do Background Research
4. Form a Hypothesis
5. Set Up and Conduct an Experiment to Test Your Hypothesis
6. Collect Data
7. Analyze Data & Describe Observations
8. Draw Conclusions
9. Report Your Results
Our scientific method posters take students through the steps of a FICTIONAL
science experiment based on the question "Does the color of light affect the growth of plants and flowers?". This is by no means supposed to be a full example or accurate statistical results of such an experiment. We simply wanted to present the steps of the scientific method in a fun and educational way rather than making the posters simply cute looking. We'd love for a class to actually conduct such an experiment and send us pictures of the results!
