Topics/Terms covered in this review game include: The Seven Steps of the Scientific Method, Hypothesis, Performing Experiments, Controls, Variables, Data, Graphs, and Applying the Steps of the Scientific Method.
This is a Jeopardy-style review game with an original, made-from-scratch look and format. The premise is that it is the night before the big science test and students are beginning to understand that there is a lot they don't understand. Questions come in the form of text messages from other students who are either looking for or offering help with studying. There are links to each question for both correct and incorrect responses.
The categories are: Vocabulary, True or False, Fill in the Blank, Step Up (identifying steps of the Scientific Method), Scramble, and Your Teacher.
Scramble gives terms related to the Scientific Method that are scrambled. Students get 10 seconds to unscramble them (the timing is done by the PowerPoint). The "Your teacher" category is just for fun. It asks general questions about you that your students might know. These are typical things that teachers are likely to share about themselves, but can be easily changed if needed.
