Use this activity at the beginning of a unit on the scientific method or as a review anytime.
Once the students have been introduced to the steps of the scientific method: problem, hypothesis, experiment, data, results, conclusion, you can test their knowledge by posting these ten questions around the room. The students can walk around individually or with groups to fill out their answer sheets. A provided bonus work sheet gives students as an extension as they wait for the station rotations or as they go back to their seats.
This is a great activity for those first weeks of school It gives the students a chance to move around and process the information about the steps of the scientific method.
