This test on the scientific method is designed for students of varying levels and abilities. The first 16 questions are fill-in-the-blank, matching, and true/false questions that require recall and simpler thinking skills. Questions #17-20 test for students understanding of how the steps of the scientific method are applied. These questions can be part of the test for higher ability students, or any of them could be used as bonus questions for lower ability groups. For the higher functioning classes, a bonus question is included that requires students to synthesis their own experiment and discuss the various factors involved.
