It's the beginning of a new school year -- time to review the Scientific Method!
Your students might be able to rattle off all the steps in order, but can they analyze what makes a good study, or what needs a touch extra tweaking and help to be scientifically-sound?
This set includes eight half-page task cards with multiple questions. Some questions require direct identification, while others ask students how they would improve an experiment, create a hypothesis, or improve the collection of data. Two question sets involve direct graph analysis, something that kids often need reinforcement with. Even better yet, many of them involve real-life scenarios in which they would actually use the Scientific Method of reasoning!
Use these individually, in small-group settings, or as a class warmup!
This set includes a set of student answer documents, and an answer key with suggested answers.
This set is good for middle school and early high school (Biology, General Science, enrichment courses, etc.)
