Scientific Method – Creating the Hypothesis, Defining Variables

Six problems to discuss together in class:
These problems may or may not be easy to test in a class setting, but they are testable. Write the problem as a hypothesis, and then define what will be the Manipulated/Dependent Variable, Responding/Independent Variable, and (many) Controlled Variables. Answers will vary.

There is a homework assignment added to this: Two questions in the same style, and you could make each question 5 points each or 10 points each.

Answer key included. I have added more than one right answer for some questions.... and there are many more, depending on clarity/detail of response.
