Scientific Method and Toy Cars- use the scientific method to learn about the concepts of force, motion and friction with this fun activity using toy cars.

This resource contains two investigations. One investigation is lead by you as a guided experiment. Students gain exposure to new concepts, and practice following the scientific method as the teacher models quality questioning, writing and procedural techniques.

Then, the second experiment releases some of the independence to the kids as they design their own investigation to learn about friction.
