Product Description
This worksheet can accompany Hollywood movie clips that you recognize as having a clear example of the scientific method in them. Clips that I have used in the past are from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (The witch/duck experiment), "E.T." (when Elliot tries to get ET to follow him into his room), "Spiderman" (when Tobey Maguire tries to get his web to spin), "Finding Nemo" (when the fish try to escape the tank) and "Avatar" (when he first tries to fly the dragon). Students are asked to pick out the Problem, Hypothesis, Experiment, Results and Conclusions. Works well with any film!
