In this activity, students will convert numbers written in scientific notation to standard form and vice versa.
Students work with a partner to complete this activity.
Person A completes problem #1 on the worksheet while Person B completes the same problem on an individual dry-erase board. After the partners have collaborated and agreed on the solution, Person B will initial the work.
For problem #2, students will reverse roles. Person B will complete the problem on the worksheet while Person A completes the problem on a dry-erase board.
This process continues until the worksheet is finished.
