Looking for a fun way to review scientific variables, while also building cooperation, communication, and perseverance? Try a breakout game.
These games are modeled after the popular escape rooms. Students interpret clues and solve puzzles in order to "break out". In this game, students apply what they have learned about independent variables, dependent variables, and constants in order to solve the puzzles.
The PDF file includes all 4 clues, set up directions, and hint cards. Just print, cut out, and go. It also includes a link to the fully editable google document file, so you can adapt the game as needed.
This is a physical breakout game. Each group needs one lockable container, a 3 digit number lock, a 4 digit number lock, a 5 letter lock, and one envelope.
