You students will love playing scoot! The kids get to be up and moving while reviewing their colors! This packet contains two different games!
How to play a scoot game::
Simply print and cut out each rectangle. Mix up the cards and place them around the room (or on desks) in a circle or in a uniformed manner.
Students will take their recording sheet and stand behind a desk. When you say start, students will match up the letter on their problem card with the corresponding letter on their recording sheet. They will write their answer on the correct letter line.
After a set amount of time (I usually give 30 seconds to 1 minute depending on the difficulty of the problems) I call time to stop. When you say “scoot”, all students will move one spot. They will answer the next question. Repeat this process until all students have every card answered.
In the first game, students will look at the colored dot and write on their recording sheet the name of each color. In the second game, students will read the color name and use crayons to color in a circle on their recording sheet!
I hope you enjoy!!
