Text Structure Scoot Review Game or Center Activity
Set a “scoot” card on each desk and give each student a copy of the recording sheet. Students will start at their own desks and carry their recording sheet with them. They will read the paragraph on the scoot card, determine what the text structure is and record their answer on their recording sheet. After 30 seconds, teacher says “scoot” and children move to the next desk and work on the next "scoot" card, recording their answer. Continue to repeat until students have returned to their own desks.
