I have created 3 types of spelling tests.
*The test are in order of difficulty. You can you use these test to differentiate the needs in your classroom.
Three types of tests
1.) Read the sentence/write the word/choose the correct spelling word. I did add the “none”
option to make it similar to ISTEP. Write four sentences using spelling words. The students must write a declarative, imperative, interrogative & exclamatory sentence.
2.) Write the spelling word. Choose the correct word.
I did add the “none” option to make it similar to ISTEP.
3.) Circle the correct spelling word.
*I have included answer keys for all tests.
The spelling tests include all 12 words, This is a multiple choice test. The students are given a sentence and they have to choose the correct spelling of the word. I have 4 bubbles. Three of the bubbles have the spelling word spelled in different ways and one bubble that says none. I have tried to make this spelling test as close to the I-Step as possible. This is great practice!
I have also included a section that requires the students to write four sentences using 4 spelling words. They have to write a declarative, imperative, interrogative, and exclamatory sentence.
The spelling test with accommodations will only test students on the words. I have eliminated the extra reading.
I have also included answer keys for all five stories!
