The following quiz is a 15-question multiple choice quiz on Edgar Wright's 2010 comedy "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World." The quiz can be used in an English, film studies, or media studies class and is not a trivia quiz about the story or production anecdotes; it is also not a simple, low-level comprehension quiz based on events in the film. The quiz contains high level, critical thinking questions on the understanding through evaluation levels of Bloom's revised taxonomy model. The quiz assesses a taker's understanding of the film's camera movement, characterization, cinematography, conflict, costume design, editing, foreshadowing, genre, inferences, irony, motifs, plot, sound, story, style, and suspense.
A packet on the film that can be used as a formative assessment to prepare students for this summative assessment will be available as a separate purchase soon.
