This is a great activity to help your students learn their new vocabulary words. You could use this in any subject that has words you need students to learn. It would be a fun way for them to learn their science vocabulary. Instead of just giving them the words, you give students the definitions and they have to unscramble the words. I used to do this with plastic Easter eggs and cut up paper. This is an updated version using technology. You may take the students to the computer lab or this could be a station in your reading class.
The words in the lesson are from Harcourt Storytown Lesson 23 but you can use any words you want, you would just need to change out the letters and the words.
