In this activity students will determine if two lines are parallel by comparing corresponding, alternate interior, alternate exterior, same-side interior, and same-side exterior angles. They will then check their answers by using the slopes of the lines.
Students can work individually or in small groups of two or three to allow them to check their answers. As students work out problems they will cross out correct answers in a provided answer bank. This will allow students to check their answers as they progress. They will then use the leftover answers to find out the secret word as they unscramble the letters not crossed out.
