When introducing psychology to my social studies classes, I utilize the Scrambled up Psychologist. This provides a general introduction that requires no prior knowledge. This hands on group activity requires students to unscramble and re-assemble an outline. Students will need glue sticks or tape, scissors and A3 or chart pieces of paper to reassemble the outline in the correct order. I recommend groups of 2-3. I use this as an intro before assigning a more detailed assignment integrating psychology and history in a formal research project. See my 'Psycho History Video Project' on my store which is a separate file.
